Minerals in a sunscreen, rice water in a hair spray. We keep that one, and build the rest from ingredients people have used for generations.

Grass‑fed tallow

Rendered from the fat of grass‑fed cattle. It moisturizes and softens skin, and it is the base most of our formulas start from.

Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide

The two active ingredients in our sunscreen lotion. We name them the way its Drug Facts panel does.

Magnesium hydroxide and zinc ricinoleate, set in a tallow base. They are in our deodorant for freshness.

Fermented rice water

The cloudy water from rice, left to ferment. It conditions hair, softens it and adds shine.

What we leave out

Our sunscreen lotion is formulated without oxybenzone or octinoxate.

Our deodorant is made without aluminum or baking soda.
